I have seen a lot of blog posts and Facebook posts about gratefulness lately. It made me wonder if I was feeling grateful enough for everything I have in life. I think I feel grateful every day but not exactly at every moment. To say it plainly don’t ask me about gratefulness between 4 and 6 p.m when I have to make the boys sit and do their homework while I keep miss L. busy. You might not like what I have to saySo in an effort to raise my gratefulness quotient I decided that for a week I will share what I am grateful for.
i am grateful
:: a husband that i learn to love and respect more and more. we’ve had to go through rough times those past couple of years and it has made us both stronger
:: healthy, lively children that teach me more about myself and life than i ever thought possible.
:: keeping calm in the midst of a crisis. remembering to breathe, identifying my shame triggers and not letting them get the better of me.
:: a roof over our heads, food on our table and the means to help others.
:: Accepting the things I cannot change and the courage to change what I can.
