Remember this picture. I posted it here.
I am so proud to say that it was picked up on my IG profile by the maker of the app I used to edit it. Pictapgo is one of my favorite apps for editing lately and I am not going to pretend that I am not proud it made the cut in their weekly picks.
Another reason I am going to frame this is that I really didn’t feel like taking any pictures that day. I was not inspired (I’ve really come to hate this word), I just wanted to crawl back inside watch TV and drink hot tea. I kind of forced myself and got going.
This picture is a lesson in life…at least for me. I wait too often for the “inspiration”, the muse that will murmur ideas into my ear. I think about it, over-think, make myself crazy and end up doing nothing….
The truth is that if you want to grow as an artist, a writer, a parent…you have to do it day in and day out. There is no inspiration, there is work.
