My friend Tara gifted me this wall sign for my birthday (I avoided mentioning it but I just turned 39 but that’s another subject) and now it’s hanging in my office right above my calendar. It makes me smile each time but it is right on the mark. T. you have me all figured out!
I have been thinking, researching and buying products to start a Life Project for 18 months now. No snickering. So there it was sitting on my shelves making me feel guilty but I couldn’t get started. I wanted pages that looked great, worthy of being in a magazine. Like that’s happening without even getting started and spending the time and effort.
I have to be honest the idea of creating a spread per week was making my head spin. I know my limits and this was way over mine. I decided to make monthly spreads as little as one or as many as needed to document our month and I got to it this morning.
I planned and ordered pictures for the month of June. It is a bit time consuming right now because I am trying to figure out the best way to print on cards, order prints and all the nuts and bolts. My goal is to streamline it so it can be done in one evening at the end of each month.
This is one of the resolutions I made on my birthday. Let’s see how good I am at keeping it.
