Walking the streets of my hometown

In the 16 years I have lived away from Algiers so much has changed and yet so much remains the same. The streets have remained the same and yet they are so much more vibrant and crowded. The buildings are the same shades of white and blue but know their walls are peppered with A/C engines. The streets are safer and people are more relaxed.

Old people still enjoy the quiet gardens and the young men are still leaning on the same walls.

It’s the same town and yet it is different. I see it differently, I am in love with it’s colors and the energy that pumps through it.
